With great pleasure and pride, we present to you a unique performing space in Chennai! The Black Box Studio offers performers and audience a setting sans distractions and allows the performance to have its inherent dialogue with the audience as intended! We hope this space can help you accentuate your art and performance and ensure it reaches in its intended form.

As an effort to give a boost to fine arts performances and also be a stepping stage for amateur artists, we have introduced extremely cost efficient rental charges to avail the facilities of Alchemy Black Box Studio to help many talents see light to their creativity. A professional and affordable arena for performance of arts has always been a challenge in Chennai and we hope to give a bit of relief for the same through our maiden attempt of a Liberated Performing Space - Alchemy Black Box Studio.

The Black Box Studio (BBS) is a performance space in Chennai that offers the city’s first “Black Box” experience. This is an initiative by Vijay Viswanathan, Theatre Practitioner & Educationalist. It was started with an objective of creating an intimate and liberating performance space allowing the audience and artist to “connect”, thereby enhancing the experience for both.
